Second in a new series of tutorial videos to supplement our in-person training program. According to the GIS Dictionary an SBET (smoothed best estimate of trajectory) is the result of a georeferencing process of adjusting trajectory using Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and inertial data. The Trimble Applanix SmartBase tool shown is found on the manufacturer’s website, here: https://www.applanix.com/products/smartbase.htm
Other series topics include 1) converting raw data into Reflectance and 3) creating a Digital Elevation Model (actually a Surface Model) using LiDAR point-cloud data with our LiDAR Tools software.
