First in a new series of tutorial videos to supplement our in-person training program. Conversion to Reflectance is a cornerstone of proper hyperspectral imaging. Converting hyperspectral data to reflectance involves processing radiance data from airborne (or spaceborne) platforms. This can be time-consuming, especially without some sort of automation which Headwall offers as a key part of the Batch Processing Tool (BPT), available to our remote-sensing customers.
Other series topics include 2) post-processing with POSPac UAV to obtain an SBET and 3) creating a Digital Elevation Model (actually a Surface Model) using LiDAR point-cloud data with our LiDAR Tools software.
